Just got done my core day workout. I figured I'd share it with the world.
-weighted crunches
-bicycles
-weighted leg raises
-training camps
-shrimping
-banana-to-boat
-plank with leg raises
-single leg lifts with stretch
-uneven arm situps
-elevated crunches
-ab wheel
-hip dips
-standing side crunches
I did two sets of each, as many reps as i could. For warmup and cooldown I hooped. I pushed so hard that:
a) i couldn't keep the hoop up during cooldown
b) i fell off my step while grabbing the mail
So, pretty intense workout. I plan on doing this every core day, which is about once a week.
If you have any questions about how to do these moves, leave a comment and I will either describe them or provide a link for a video!

new goal + leg day
So I now have a new idol....
Ronda Rousey!!!!
I was going to post a picture, but this computer has decided not to work...
Whatever.
So, Ronda is super pretty, and super badass. She has done judo in the past, and is now an mma fighter. Her signature move: the arm bar. Basically she tears people's arms off. BADASS.
So my new goal is to be like her. I obviously will never get into the mma. But I can learn the moves, and get a banging body like hers. So I'm working on it.
LEG DAY
I have started a pretty rigorous routine to get the results I want. It's structured and I have kept to it. However I hit a problem today.... Leg day. I need ideas. I have looked online, but can't find too much I can do at home. Please, if you have awesome leg moves, leave a comment below.... Don't let me be the top heavy girl with scrawny legs!

What are you waiting for?
Whatever your goal is, wherever you want your life to go, what are you waiting for?
This is the time to start. Not tomorrow, next week, etc. If you start today, you will be one day closer to your dreams. If you put it off for anyother day, you will most likely keep putting it off. What do you have to lose?
Also, tax season is upon us! Instead of blowing all of your money towards something frivolous, why don't you invest in yourself and your goals? Buy a new workout program, save money towards a new business, or anything else to get you where you want to go.
To help you along the way to your goals, a good idea is to sign up for free coaching. I can help you find a workout that is right for you, and give you some great ideas for managing any goals you might have.

Clean Eating progress, week 2
Hey Everyone! So, just a quick note to let everyone know how I am doing on the clean eating thing. I have cut out all soda, and candy. I did have ice cream last week, and some mini cupcakes. Hoever The soda thing is HUGE progress. I used to drink about 2 liters by myself every day. I also went to the store today and got quinoa, cucumbers, yams, fresh organic salsa, lime juice, and garlic powder, as well as some canned veggies in case of emergency. Yay me!!!
In other news, I injured my toe. I don't know how, but it feels like I partially ripped my toenail off. I say feels because it's impossible to see. I broke my toe/nail when I was young... I ran into a full briefcase. So yeah, that sucks.
In great news, I ordered "America's Cheapest Family" the other day! It should be here this week. Super excited, and hopefully it will help me rein in my spending, and help me to budget better.
Alright, time for me to do my pushups and squats (I have a personal challenge to do a certain amount each day..... 45 squats today and 8 pushups, working up to 100 squats and 20 pushups.)
Goodnight to everyone out there, and push harder, because you can do more than you think!

Resolutions
No, this is not a post about my resolutions. I don't make resolutions at the beginning of the year. I set them throughout the year, and then work on them in steps.
This is a post about your resolutions, and how to actually reach them. Many people set goals for the new year, hoping that they will reach them, and fully intending to do so. However, after a few weeks of working their hardest, they give up. Cuz it just isn't working, and they don't understand why.
I KNOW WHY.
It's super simple. The reason it doesn't work is they don't have a plan. Let me rephrase. they don't have a plan THAT WORKS. You can say you will work out 3 days a week, and eat better, etc. However, you need to lay out a master plan. Otherwise, you will get lost. A master plan is basically a road map. It helps get you where you want to go. Chalene Johnson taught me something called "reverse engineering". What that is: you choose a goal, then make a master list of everything that needs to be done, or questions you may have. Then, you sort through those items, and put each into one of 4 columns: research, first, during, and later. Research is things that will help you know how to do whatever your goal is. First is stuff to do before you start, to prepare yourself. During is steps you need to take while you reach your goal. Later is for all those little things that can wait til everything else is done.
After you do this, you work through it. You put one or two items on your daily to-do list, and you do them. simple as that. I will give you my personal example.
Clean Eating Reverse Engineering
-define clean eating
-shopping list
-read Tosca book
-tell Joel and Dad goal
-premake food
-invest in cooler
-No Junk Food!
-organize fridge
-clean out pantry
-budget for food
-buy and install shelves
-Fitbit?
-subscribe to Oxygen
(There could be way more on this list. However, this is what worked for me)
Now for the columns... which will be in list form since my diagram won't load. BOOOO!
RESEARCH
define clean eating
read Tosca, take notes
FIRST
get rid of junk food
make shopping list
buy cooler
organize fridge
organize pantry
tell my goal
DURING
premake food
pack lunches
create budget for food
LATER
FitBit
install shelves
Oxygen subscription
As you can see, some of this is already done. Super easy to do, super easy to follow. You make tiny steps, that way you can do a little at a time. I also have started reading the book, and have been taking food with me to work. I bought Oxygen for this month, once I get paid I will subscribe. We are going shopping in a few weeks to get food.
This is how you reach your dreams. If you need help, feel free to email me or join the free coaching program.

Also, I highly recommend getting Push by Chalene Johnson. It's a great book that helps you learn to set and reach goals in any aspect of your life.
Happy New Year!!!!

Ugh... (My relationship with planning)
Schedules going byebye!
So, I have been having issues for a while keeping a workout schedule. I plan to do a program, and for the first couple weeks I am amazing at it. Then, I miss a day. Then two. Then 2 weeks. Oops.
I swear, I have every intention of following the programs. I even feel amazing and proud when I complete the days workout. But for some reason, I have never been able to finish anything I start...
That includes: dishes, learning languages, drawing, certain books, and way more things. I have to be super interested and constantly stimulated. I guess that's due to my ADHD. Bleh.
So, I have come up with a solution. I am going to go OFF SCHEDULE! For the next couple months, my only goal is to check off the box that says "workout" on my to do list. I will do whatever fits my mood that day. Today was Piyo. Awesome!
To Do Awesomeness!
So, as you may or may not know, I mentioned getting Push by Chalene Johnson.... forever ago. Yet another thing I never finished. I restarted it about a week ago and am determined to work through it. So far, I'm at day 10. I pushed hard and reverse engineered my goals, and am working through them as well. The only way I am managing this is by having a to do list. Which you are taught on like day 7 or so. I downloaded GTasks on my smartphone, and put the widget on my homescreen. It has changed my world. I love checking off all the stuff I do, and I'm better organized. I have gotten better at spending, because I make a list and stick with it. It's right on the list!
I highly recommend reading Push. But even if you don't, a to do list is something everyone should be using. It's super simple if you do it right. I know a lot of people (myself included) who make it impossibly complicated.
Example:
-clean closets
-do wash
-take trash out
-work out
-pick up kid
-do dishes
-clean out fridge
-cook dinner
-shopping
This is what my list used to be. I used to get overwhelmed, and then feel like a failure when everything didn't get done. I HAD A LIST. How hard is it to follow a list?!
Truth is, very hard. You need to break it apart. Make it more itemized, and do the most important things first. Also, by breaking apart big jobs (ie. clean out fridge) into smaller pieces (throw out old milk, check eggs, get rid of junk food, etc.) you can get more done.
I am still learning. I know I will never be perfect, but I can change my thinking to make that okay. I am learning to be okay with being GOOD ENOUGH. If you want to learn with me, or have someone to talk to on your journey (whether it's workout related or not), please sign up for coaching. It's free, and I can get more of a feel for how to help you :)
Goodnight, and hope to hear from you soon!

Clean Eating Day One
So I have decided that I need to eat better. It's really hard for me to make good food decisions, since I am surrounded by junk food all day. But I'm doing it.
Yesterday was the first day. I think I did pretty good. Mind you, most of the junk food listed was free, so it took lots of self control not to eat way more of it.
For Today...
I'm bringing my snacks with me, probably an apple and banana, plus these amazing things called masa chips that I got in my NatureBox this month. I won't have time for lunch today since I have a doctors appointment on my break. I think I will do alot better than yesterday, as long as I stay away from the damn cake lol.
Check in around.... Monday to see how I am doing!!!

Welcome Back, Trish!
No, I didn't actually go anywhere. I have, however, been mysteriously (at least to my readers) missing. I promised to post every week, I promised a video. Where is it?!
It's been a busy month, not just for me, but for everyone in America. Obviously Thanksgiving just passed. My dad taught me how to make turkey and his stuffing that is amazing. Now it's up to me to recreate that for Christmas. Then, my store has been going through changes. New managers, people quitting, new people being trained. Plus, our sales floor is being revamped. So I have a lot of responsibility thrust on me, since I am one of the few remaining original members of our team. Yay me!
Needless to say, long hours plus home stuff makes it a little hard to fit everything in. Sorry I haven't been here for you guys, but I am back now :)
For todays post:
Workouts, Christmas, and happy endings!
So, I have taken advantage of the TurboKick deal of 11 dvds for $77.
So many workouts!!!! I have only done 2 of the dvds so far. This whole set is consisted of Piyo and Hip Hop Hustle. I am doing them on my rest days from Chalean Extreme.
I will be posting a snippet of my workout probably Friday, so keep on the lookout for that!
Christmas... Ugh. I have decided this year that my household gets 1-2 presents from me, excluding my daughter. I already know what I am getting them and have shopped around for deals. Plus, I think I may have everyone do someone else's stocking, just to make it easier. This may seem so simple, but for a ridiculously long amount of time, I have been trying to do it all. I never feel that I have gotten the right thing, or enough, and I like to be in control. It is so stressful. I can't do it anymore.
Happy Endings in the near future! .... maybe that should be happy beginnings....
I have finally called the lawyer my friend referred me to. I have been trying to get my divorce done for way too long. Something has always happened (address changes, case dismissed, etc.) Eventually we just seemed to decide it wasn't so important. We weren't getting remarried anytime soon. So why bother?
Well, I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. We live together. We want to grow our family. And we have discussed marriage.... obviously that should be before babies lol. So, it is time to move on to bigger and better things. I need to get this done, for everyone's sanity!
So that's it for now, have a pleasant day!
PS. It's my birthday tomorrow!!!!!

So yeah
I have decided to give up on the challenge. The questions left were things I couldn't really answer. I don't drink energy drinks, I don't avoid junk food ( even though I should), I have no rep structure.
What I can tell you is: I like drinking tea and reading to relax. I drink at least a bottle of water during my workout. I would love for everyone in the world to lift weights.
Coming Soon To a Blog Near You...
Ok maybe not the blog, per se. If you haven't yet done so, please subscribe to my youtube channel. I will be posting new videos once a week, starting next week. (I would start this week, but I have last minute wedding stuffs to get done!!!) The videos will range from random workouts to dietary staples to me being utterly ridiculous.
I am going to TRY to blog once a week, about various topics. For example:
I went to Uno's the other night, and something on the menu said "healthy grain". It was a farro salad. I will tell you, I loved that salad so much, I bought farro. It is hearty, and tasty, and versatile. I don't eat many types of grains (no time), but this seems easy to make.
Please check back frequently, or subscribe, because sometimes I will not be able to post that I have a blog entry up!
